TOWN OF MANSFIELD

ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 11 OF THE MANSFIELD CODE OF ORDINANCE (CONSERVATION COMMISSION)

Following a Public Hearing held on November 27, 2006, the Mansfield Town Council adopted an Amendment to Chapter 11 of the Mansfield Code of Ordinances (Conservation Commission).  This amendment to the ordinance will become effective 21 days after its publication in a newspaper having a circulation in the Town of Mansfield.

The Commission shall also include two alternate members who shall be appointed by the Town Manager.  Of the two alternate members first appointed to the office, one shall be appointed to serve for one year, and one shall be appointed to serve for two years.  Thereafter, appointment of alternate members to the Commission shall be for terms of three years.
