Bulky Waste

Bulky waste includes construction materials, demolition debris, and large non-metal furniture. Examples of bulky waste are shingles, drywall, tile flooring, carpet, sofas, scrap wood, wood cabinets, concrete blocks, and porcelain sinks.

The Town of Mansfield does not provide bulky waste collection service. Instead, residents may either bring bulky waste items to the Mansfield transfer station for $30 per cubic yard or hire a contractor.

Items that are usable as is, needing no repair, may be donated to the local charity, WAIM.

For building materials that are usable and in good condition, consider contributing them to the ReCONNstruction Center. The ReCONNstruction Center is a non-profit building materials reuse store located in New Britain, Connecticut. All donations are tax deductible.
