Our Kindergarten

Kindergarten at Mansfield Discovery Depot is a full-day program designed to meet educational objectives in the areas of reading, math, science, and social studies; to encourage musical and artistic expression; to teach children about creating peace and resolving conflict. An integrated curriculum has been developed to promote interactive, play-based learning organized by themes. These might include stars and planets, houses and homes, family celebrations, Earth Day, sunflowers. We encourage parents to share their expertise in any of these areas. It is our goal that children will learn the cognitive social skills needed to be successful throughout their school years.
