Martin Bloom Art Exhibit
The Mansfield Community Center is now exhibiting UCONN Professor emeritus Martin Bloom for October 15, 2008 – January 10, 2009. Several years before his retirement in 2006, Martin took basic classes at the art school at UCONN and ECSU, and then struck out on his own in collage, a method half way between painting and sculpture, in which “something is attached to something else.”
