TOWN OF MANSFIELD
ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE FOR OBTAINING GOODS AND SERVICES

Following a Public Hearing held on May 11, 2009, the Mansfield Town Council adopted an Ordinance For Obtaining Goods and Services.  This ordinance shall become effective 21 days after a summary of the ordinance and a notice of adoption is published in a newspaper having a circulation in the Town of Mansfield.

As required by the Mansfield Town Charter, this ordinance codifies the Town’s purchasing requirements adding a section concerning the purchase of environmentally sound products and services and additional regulatory safeguards.

This document is prepared for the benefit of the public, solely, for purposes of information, summarization and explanation.  This document does not represent the intent of the legislative body of Mansfield for any purpose.  Copies of the ordinance will be mailed to any persons requesting one at no charge to such person.
