SEPTEMBER 4, 2007 INLAND WETLAND AGENCY PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE MIXED USE STORRS CENTER DOWNTOWN PROJECT
The Mansfield Inland Wetland Agency has scheduled a Public Hearing for September
4, 2007 to receive comments on an application submitted by the Mansfield
Downtown Partnership Inc. and Storrs Center Alliance, LLC. The Public Hearing
will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers, Audrey
P. Beck Building, 4 South Eagleville Road. The application seeks approval
for construction within regulated wetland/watercourse areas, located east
of Storrs Road, between Dog Lane and Post Office Road. Application
materials are available for review at Mansfield’s internet web
site, www.Mansfieldct.org and at the Mansfield Planning Offices in the Audrey
P. Beck Municipal Building.
At the 9/4/07 Public Hearing, the applicant will present the application and supplemental materials and public comments will be received. The Commission will receive written comments on the applications until the public hearing process has been closed.

The Mansfield Inland Wetland Agency will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, A.P. Beck Bldg., 4 S. Eagleville Rd, to hear comments on the application of the Mansfield Downtown Partnership Inc. and Storrs Center Alliance LLC. for the planned Storrs Center project which proposes building, roads and other site work within and adjacent to inland wetland and watercourse areas. Application materials, including project mapping and a detailed Master Stormwater Management Plan, are available for review at Mansfield’s internet site www.mansfieldct.org and at the Mansfield Planning Office in the A.P. Beck Municipal Bldg. The subject 47 acre site is located east of Storrs Rd. between Dog Lane and the Storrs Post Office Rd.
At this Hearing, interested persons may be heard and written communications
received. No information from the applicant or the public shall be received
after the close of the Public Hearing.
