LEGAL NOTICE

On 6/18/07 the Mansfield Planning and Zoning Commission approved, subject to specific amendments, two applications submitted by the Mansfield Downtown Partnership Inc. and Storrs Center Alliance, LLC. The first approved application amends the Zoning Regulations to establish provisions for a new Storrs Center Special Design District zone, including permitted use provisions, application requirements, approval criteria and approval processes. The second approved application rezones 47.7 acres of land east of Storrs Rd and south of Dog Ln. from Planned Business 2, Professional Office 1 and Rural Agricultural Residence 90 to a new Storrs Center Special Design District zone classification. The new zone is directly linked with preliminary master plan maps, special design guidelines and parking, traffic and stormwater drainage studies for a planned mixed-use Storrs Center project that were approved subject to revisions. The approved Zoning Regulation amendments and new zone classification will become effective on July 15, 2007 or upon subsequent filing on the Land Records of approved regulations, mapping, design guidelines and special studies.
