Announcements, Minutes	Minutes of the August 28 meeting were reviewed.	Minutes approved as written.
Results Based Accountability Exercise	Overview of RBA Process: R. Mocanu provided an overview of the RBA training institute that the team attended: they worked on developing a results statement and indicators.  M. Sieve reviewed the basic elements of selecting indicators in the RBA framework.  Indicators help to determine how you are moving along in achieving your results. The group reviewed the criteria for selecting key indicators; how to determine primary and secondary indicators.	The group engaged in an exercise to identify what it would look like if people were connected to the community, and how we would measure this?
Communication Sub-Committee	T. Berthelot reported that J. Stoughton, M. Baker and M. Barton have agreed to be part of a communication sub-committee to develop a linkage to the larger community to determine whether or not we are on the right track.  The goal is to solicit feedback from community members as this plan continues to develop.	The sub-committee will convene; if others are interested in participating they should join. A parent of young children would be welcome as a member.  M. Sieve mentioned that there are tools available through the United Way that this group may be able to use from the “Born Learning” initiative.  S. Baxter provided strategies about how to reach the business community.
Next Steps	How would the group like to proceed with getting community involvement?	No discussion.
Results Statement	Discuss whether this is the right result statement for Mansfield: Does this capture what has previously been discussed; is there anything missing?  Clarification that referring to children being connected includes parents as part of this.	Results Statement approved unanimously as written.
Indicators	Discuss:  How to choose indicator/possible indicators: M. Sieve distributed a draft list of indicators for the Results Statement.	M. Sieve will email draft indicators to all members tomorrow for members to review.  Determine H/M/L ratings and reply by the end of the day on 9/22.
