The minutes of the March meeting had never been received by members; since no copy was available they could not be approved .
Gail Bruhn read three letters she had received regarding the construction/renovation project of Dan Newmyer’s at 32 Centre Street. The letters had been written by Roberta Smith, Kit Hastings Kort, and Betsy Hamill. All objected to the scale of the construction.
Dan Newmyer presented information on the materials to be used on his renovations at 32 Center Street: weathered cedar shingles and stone for the facade, and Azek for the trim. No objection was raised to these materials, including the Azek.
Anita Bacon presented a preliminary outline describing renovations to buildings in historic districts. Members will study her suggestions and discuss the proposal at the next meeting.
Respectfully submitted,
Jody Newmyer
Clerk
