Minutes of the meeting – June 16, 2009

Present: Nesbitt (chair), Plante, Rawn, Hultgren

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by chair Nesbitt.

The minutes of May 27, 2009 meeting were approved on a motion by Plante/Rawn.

The public information meeting held on June 9^th was discussed and changes discussed. The question as to what CT Water’s policy is on supplying water to adjacent areas needs to be answered. Hultgren will ask them what their policy is. The test results for the monitoring wells will be obtained for future information. A meeting to brief Senator Dodd’s staff on the Town’s water and sewer needs for 4 corners will be arranged in the next few weeks – committee members will be invited.

The first installment of the sequential information chapters was edited. It will be placed on the Town’s economic development website. The second installment will go up in mid-July.

Design issues and design districts were discussed. These will be examined in more detail at the next meeting. Rawn and Plante will do some of the research for this.

The next meeting was set for Tuesday July 21^st at 7 PM.

The meeting was adjourned at 825 PM.
