Minutes of the Meeting – April 7, 2009

Present:  Nesbitt (chair), Ferrigno, Tussing, Pacholski, Hart, Hultgren

The meeting was called to order by Chair Nesbitt at 7:12 PM.

The approval of the March 10^th minutes was deferred to the next meeting.

The March 24th property owner’s meeting was discussed.  Questions at the meeting addressed the following:

(1) Residential assessments

(2) Service area boundaries and the possible addition of adjacent properties.

After discussion of the meeting and project funding and timetable, it was agreed that staff would:

(1) Continue analyzing the residential assessments and how they could be reduced

(2) Prepare a draft analysis of the addition of adjacent properties to the service area; and

(3) Finish the review of the fiscal analysis so that the conclusions can be used in review of the future presentations/meetings.

Design and funding schedules were further discussed with the possibility of fast tracking design.  Steff will get an estimate of design costs if it was done by a consultant.

It was agreed that the next public meeting on the project will be held in early June.    The next Committee meeting was set for May 5^th at 7 PM.
