MINUTES

Present:          M. Berliner, M. Boyer, R. Miller, E. Paterson, A. Rash, G. Schimmel, W. Simpson

Staff:               M. Hart, J. Smith

1. Call to Order/Roll Call

Mr. Simpson called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m., and welcomed those in attendance.

2. February 1, 2006 Meeting Minutes

Mr. Hart will provide copies of the minutes for the next meeting.

3. Consulting Services

The committee members reviewed and discussed the proposal submitted by Mr. Jokubaitis of Educational Consulting Services.  Mr. Berliner made a motion, seconded by Ms. Paterson, to select Mr. Jokubaitis and the firm of Educational Consulting Services to perform the first phase of the proposal.  The motion passed unanimously.

Mr. Hart will suggest to Mr. Schimmel any needed revisions to the agreement.  Mr. Schimmel will forward those comments on to Mr. Jokubaitis, and will invite him to the committee’s next meeting on April 12, 2006.  Mr. Schimmel will also research any similar facility studies that we may have completed in the recent past.

The committee discussed the need to conduct a public hearing at some point to solicit public input regarding facility needs.

Mr. Simpson adjourned the meeting at 5:40 p.m.
