Minutes of March 12, 2008 meeting

Audrey P. Beck Municipal Building

Conference Room B, 7:30 p.m.

1. Acting Chairman, Carol Stearms, called the meeting to order at 7:40.

2. PRESENT:            Al Cyr, Charlie Galgowski, Vicky Wetherell, Carol Stearns

3. Minutes of the February 6,  2008, meeting were approved.

Old Business

4. Historic Barn Project

            Reports on progress of barn survey and successful training session on February 21 with 55 attendees.  Volunteers have signed up for most of the addresses on the list.  Photo contest rules to be posted on the Historical Society website. 

New Business

5.  PZC Referral – Proposed revisions to the Zoning Map and Zoning Regulations – Pleasant Valley Road Area

            The committee reviewed the proposed zoning, and their comments and recommendations will be forwarded to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

6.  Agricultural Lease Reporting Forms

            The committee reviewed the reporting forms submitted to Jennifer Kaufman by farmers who lease Town fields.  The committee also reviewed parcels to be monitored for condition of fields by members of the committee in the winter/early spring.

7.  2008 Agriculture Brochure 

The committee reviewed the 2007 brochure and recommended additional persons to be contacted about participating in the 2008 brochure. e issue.
