Movie Review
"The Grinch"

Every kid awaits the new set of Thanksgiving movies each year. At least one of the movies this Thanksgiving was worth waiting for: "The Grinch". Starring the hilarious comedian Jim Carrey, this story expands on the plot of Dr. Suess’ classic book about the spirit of Christmas. I would give this movie four stars. The movie begins around Christmas time in a village called Whoville. The people in Whoville are as big as an ant (well actually they are smaller!).
The Grinch, who lives north of Whoville, hates Christmas. He grew up hating the Who’s as well because he was mistreated as a child because of being green and looking different than the other Who’s. Cindy Lou Who is the daughter of Betty Lou Lou Who. She is noticing that all the other Who’s care about this year is presents. She is trying to find the true Christmas spirit in Whoville. The Grinch’s sinister plan help the Who’s realize there is more to Christmas than gifts. The plan also teaches the Grinch the same lesson. This is a good movie. If you have not seen this movie, you should go see it.
