Christmas.
A time of giving
presents, and celebrating religion.
Surely not a holiday of spending money.
Right? It’s not about the money.
Christmas…
Is a wonderful holiday
where giving
is plentiful, and religion
is cherished—
where the whole family can all gather together to exchange presents
But even so, Christmas is not about presents
or spending money.
…Or so we’re told. It is about celebrating our religion.
…Or it used to be. But here, in 21st century America, Christmas
is about giving expensive gifts.
It is a horrible message that is given out by this holiday.
This holiday
says that the most important presents that people are giving
are the ones that cost the most money.
But, it’s not entirely the people’s fault that Christmas
Has lost all value of religion.
You see, the economy couldn’t care less about religion.
This holiday,
Christmas
has been turned into a time to get lots of presents and spend money.
Christmas is great for the economy, and they gave it the code name giving.
Giving
is what they call it, but I know it means greed. How is this still called a religious
holiday? It has become only about spending money.
This holidayis turning in to something sick, people worry over if their presents wrapping paper is fancy enough for Christmas.
Christmas is no longer about giving.
It’s about the presents, no longer the religion.
This is a holiday for money
