Unit Test

 

Project Choices:

  1. Create a poster timeline of medieval history with 15 important events. Write a short explanation of each event, including why you think it is important. Include visuals.  Cover time period covered by all three chapters.
  2. Write a one-page (typed, single spaced) account, in your own words, of an important person or event. Use and list at least two sources.
  3. Make a diorama of a medieval scene. Include a written explanation of the scene.  Teacher permission required.
  4. Draw or make a model of a medieval castle and write an explanation of the layout. Include words like portcullis, keep, and moat.
  5. Design the front page of a newspaper with stories from the Middle Ages.
  6. Present a short skit or video about daily life in the Middle Ages, a famous event or a famous person. Must submit  a draft script ahead of time.   Teacher permission required.
  7. Write a one-page diary entry from the perspective of a serf, monk, noble or knight. Include illustrations.
  8. Draw a map from a period during the Middle Ages. Write a paragraph that explains the significance of the information presented.
  9. Complete the Hot Links Assignment.
  10. Design your own project. Check with your teacher.

v    Posters should be visually appealing.  Text and graphics/pictures should be on the same side.
