Overview

Our art curriculum is designed to expose students to a wide range of cultural influences and art techniques. Outlined below are a few of the guidelines and expectations we have of our students:

Student Expectations

Get a drink of water, go to your locker, and visit the bathroom before you arrive! Art is an awesome subject and I don’t want you to miss a second of it once you are in class.

When you miss class due to illness or music lessons, you are responsible to make up the work you are missing. The Art Room is open for x-block and is often available after school for those who find themselves falling behind.

Safety

The Art Program is meant to be a positive experience for all. Our art room is full of different types of materials and tools to support the incredibly creative work of our students. This means safety prevails! Expectations are placed on our students to respect their own work, the projects of others, and the materials in the art room.
