Grade 7A and 7B  Homework through Tuesday, March 9, 2010

At any time, study with your flashcards and/or listen to the CD to learn your alphabet, your numbers and your vocab for Chapter 0-4.  Don’t forget to record the number of minutes you did your workouts on the “page jauneie. the workout sheet.  Turn in this workout sheet, with your name and your parent’s written signature (only need to do this once) on the sheet, before the end of this third quarter, Friday, April 9, 2010.  No other paper will be accepted.  This is a great way to earn extra points on low quiz or test scores

Due Tuesday, March 2 – Work on your Quebec projects for presenting and listen and repeat CD

Due Wednesday, March 3 (7B) – Present Quebec projects; also homework due on Tuesday, March 9 workbook pages 29 and 30, exs. 9, 10 and 11  

Due Friday, March 5 – 7A – Jour de crêpes – devoirs workbook pages 29 and 30, exs. 9, 10 and 11 which is due on Tuesday, Match 9

Due Tuesday, March 9 – Presentation of Quebec projects.

It would be a great idea to listen to and repeat your CD AND I now have 4 different items on my webpage with cool background music (see below).  The alphabet, numbers, and Chapters 3 and 9 vocabularies are on there.  Check them out and download to your IPod!!  There are more coming.

Looking at  your vocab sheet, listen to and repeat the vocab of Ch. 4 on your CD.  Note these ten minute workouts on this quarter’s “Page Jaune” so you can have extra credit at the end of the quarter for your low quiz and test scores.

Listen on CD, look at and repeat the alphabet, the numbers especially and the Chapters 0-4 but especially the numbers and Ch. 4 tracks and note your time on “la page jaune”.

 

Grade 8A and 8B Homework through Tuesday, March 23, 2010

At any time, please study with your flashcards and/or listen to the CD to learn your alphabet, your numbers and your new vocabulary for Ch. 9 and alphabet and numbers as well as vocabularies Ch. 0 – 8  to brush up on past vocabs.  Don’t forget to record the number of minutes you did your workouts on the “page jaune”, ie. the workout sheet.  Turn in this workout sheet, with your name and your parent’s written signature (only need to do this once) on the sheet, before the end of this third quarter, Friday, April 9, 2010.  No other paper will be accepted except for this yellow sheet.  This is a great way to earn extra points on low quiz or test scores!!

Due Monday, March 15 –Textbook pages 312-313, questions to answer with letter I questions, writing a 5 sentence paragraph in French about your particular clothing style at different occasions or different times of the year.

Due Tuesday, March 16 – In textbook, pages 316 and 317, exs. 4-10.  Also for 8B do all exercises in workbook for Ch. 10.

Due Thursday, March 18 – Begin your culminating activity for this chapter on Fashion

8B/8A – Tuesday, March 23 – Present your culminating activity for Ch. 10 on Fashion.

 

Check out new downloads on this website for selected vocabs with cool background music (see below) and download to your IPod!!  Right now there are the alphabet, numbers and Ch. 3 and 9.  But there are more coming. 

 

 

Also, while looking at the French and English words on the vocab sheet, listen and repeat the vocab of Ch. 9 on your CD and ALL the numbers in French and the alphabet as well as Ch. 0-8.  Note the times on your yellow workout sheets to hand in at the end of the third quarter which finishes on Friday, April 9, 2010.

 

Here are some great reference dictionaries when you need to look up a word.  Please do not use the computer translator because it doesn’t work ……………. in fact, it is pretty funny and outrageous when it is used.
