Web Board Directions
Find the site:
·
Go to the
following website: www.mmsnet.org
·
Under the
heading Web Links go to eSchool Builder
·
Login under the
heading “Go to Class” using your username and password
·
Click on “Go to
Class”
·
The eSchool desktop will be displayed on your monitor
To
Participate in a Discussion/Post Your Response:
·
Under “Your
Class List,” click on the name of the class you are going to participate in.
·
Go to the scroll
box in the upper left hand corner of the page that reads “Course Areas…”
·
Click on the
arrow of the scroll box and select “Discussion.”
·
Click on the
Discussion Topic listed in the chart (this will be a blue heading) that has
been assigned for the discussion
·
Click on “Add
New Subject” to enter your own posting to the discussion.
·
Use your first
and last names as the title of your post or the question you are asking your
classmates. Your teacher will let you
know which title to use.
·
Type your
response in the empty box.
·
Click on
“Submit” (this automatically saves your response) and you will be back to the
main discussion board where all posts are listed in blue.
To
Reply to a Post:
·
If you have
exited from the Main Discussion Board where all posts are listed in blue – go
to the scroll box in the upper left hand corner of the page that reads “Course
Areas…” If you are in the Main
Discussion Board, go to #4.
·
Click on the
arrow of the scroll box and select “Discussion.”
·
Click on the
Discussion Topic listed in the chart (this will be a blue heading) that has
been assigned for the discussion.
·
Click on any
post from your classmates to read what they are saying (their names/questions
will be in blue).
·
Click on the red
“Reply” button when you’d like to comment or ask a question on a response that
you have read.
·
The title of
your reply should be your first and last names.
·
Type your reply
in the box. You can spell check by
selecting the icon “Spell Check” before submitting your reply. You do not have to select anything else from
the bottom of the page after the text box with your reply.
·
Click “SUBMIT”
when you have finished your reply.
Remember to be positive!
To
Save Your Post Before You Are Finished:
·
When in “Add New
Subject” you may click “submit” at any time and this will save your post.
To
Check If You Have Mail:
·
Click on “
·
Look at the “In
Mail” icon on the left side of the page and there will be a blinking “new
message” icon if you have new mail.
·
Click on the “In
Mail” icon to check message.
·
Click on the
envelope and message title (in blue) to read your message
·
Click “reply to
send a message back
·
Enter Subject
and Message text
·
Click “Send”
when you have finished your response.

it! Enjoy your discussions!
