
On April 28, 2010. Governor Jodi Rell, kicked of the annual summer reading program. CONNECTICUT READS--the 2010 Governor's Summer Reading Challenge highlights the importance of reading. Commissioner Mark K. McQuillan encourages parents and teachers to support reading during the summer months. The materials for this program were distributed a the end of the school year and can also be found below. The theme for this year's program is "MAKE WAVES at your library!"
