- AlphaSmart & Dana
- This site offers some great activities and some interesting information about the highly used AlphaSmart technologies, and their successor, the Dana.
- Classroom of the Future
- Take a look around by clicking on the different parts of the classroom. Explore, and maybe even incorporate some of these ideas into your own classroom. The future is now!
PRESENTATION HARDWARE
- Margi
- A hardware device that allows PDA screens to be shown through a projector or TV screen using the SD slot.
- Portsmith Pitch
- Similar to the Margi, the Pitch is designed to use the universal port at the bottom of the PDA to present through a projector in an ability to free up the SD slot.
- Margi/Portsmith Pitch Demo
- This Powerpoint presentation is designed to test the ability of Margi and Pitch to present slide shows to your class. You can borrow the hardware from the UConn interns and try out the technology. It may take a few seconds to download, please be patient. Good Luck!
